When you are shipping your Chinese made products all over the world, there are in general, three different routes that can be taken.

The Indian Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean all offer routes to different destinations.

The route using the Indian Ocean is usually used for oil transport or other shipments that need to go to Africa, Western Europe, the Persian Gulf or North America by way of the Cape of Good Hope.

If you go the Pacific Ocean route, then the ships will go northward through the Sea of Japan to enter the North Pacific Ocean.

This is a good route for those ships that need to reach Latin America, Western Canada, Australia, New Zealand or the Western United States.

For those ships that need to go to the east coast of the United States, the Gulf, the Suez Canal, Western Europe or the Mediterranean area can choose to take the Atlantic route that will send them from China in a southern direction to the Cape of Good Hope and Indian Ocean.
